Since its launch, Mikrobiomik has received grants and subsidies amounting to over €600,000.

Thanks to the innovative and ground-breaking nature of its R&D&I projects, the bio-pharmaceutical company Mikrobiomik has managed to attract over €600,000 in non-refundable grants and subsidies since its incorporation.

Among the various calls through which Mikrobiomik has received public funds for its different R&D&i projects, some of the highlights are the grants for the launch of innovative projects and enterprises (Diputación Foral de Bizkaia – Provincial Council of Bizkaia), Ekintzaile (Basque Government), Hazitek 2019 and 2020 (Programme in support of corporate R&D, the Basque Government’s Department of Economic Development), Bikaintek (grants for PhD studies in industrial subjects and for the hiring of research staff, the Basque Government’s Department of Economic Development), Technology Audits (Provincial Council of Bizkaia), Torres Quevedo 2018 and 2019, Nationwide Programme for Promoting Talent and its Employment in R&D&i (Ministry of Science and Innovation, Government of Spain), and NEOTEC (support for the creation and consolidation of technology-based start-ups in Spain, Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Science and Innovation, Government of Spain).
