We discussed the reality of biotechnology, an innovative and strategic sector, which develops disruptive and effective solutions that look to improve the quality of life of the population.
From Mikrobiomik we talked about microbiota and microbiome, and the advances obtained in the ICD-01 clinical trial for the treatment of Clostridiodes Difficile, which is now ongoing and in a final stage.
The company’s CEO, Juan Basterra, describes the development of MBK-01, the investigational biological medicine based on intestinal microbiota, and comments “We are convinced that treatments based on the human microbiome are here to stay”.
