Patricia del Río, new executive director: female leadership at the forefront of our mission
We are pleased to announce the designation of Patricia del Río as the new Executive Director of Mikrobiomik, who took up her position in November, with the full support of the current partners. With more than three years of experience in our young company, Patricia has been a key player in our growth, starting as Head of Clinical Trials and more recently as Director of Business Development and Innovation.
Prior to joining Mikrobiomik, Patricia led the R&D department of a microbiota research company in the UK. Her strong background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, an MSc in Cell Biology and Histology and more than 10 years of research and project management experience in several European institutions and companies.
With this announcement, Mikrobiomik maintains its commitment to excellence and equality, becoming a company led by a 100% female team. Our staff is made up of highly qualified female professionals, including biologists, biochemists, pharmacists, and experts in various disciplines, who bring their talent and experience to drive innovation in microbiota. We are confident that Patricia will continue to successfully lead our mission to transform healthcare through effective and safe solutions for patients.
